Beach Weddings in Croatia
Enjoying the sea breeze, the pleasant climate and the crystal clear waters of Adriatic sea, the couples get married here with happiness and joy. The whole point of having a wedding on the beaches of Croatia is to live that moment and get married in a relaxing and romantic fashion.
Best time to plan it
Beaches in Croatia are public. During the summer there may be swimmers and people taking sun around. The best time to plan a beach wedding is sometimes before the 15th June or after the 15th September.Ceremony
The beach weddings in Croatia are planned well in advance by your wedding planner (one year is preferred).The ceremony is very basic and simple. It is held in Croatian with an English interpreter. There shall be a small exchanging of vows while the ring is placed on each other’s finger. There are two witnesses, which are needed to sign afterwards. You may have bridesmaids, a pageboy, a best man, or a flower girl if you wish. You can alter your packages and the sequence of events anyway you like.
Beaches around Dubrovnik, romantic islands and nice coastal venues to south or north are all waiting for you.
Going half way
So you would like to have ceremony close to the sea and you would still prefer to do it in plain summer? The best thing to do is to head for a venue that's close to the sea, just a bit above, like a nice terrace, garden, historical site or so. It may take a place on the land as well as on the islands. |

Wedding in Dubrovnik, Palms Terrace, Excelsior
What we did:
we started with the wedding ceremony out in the Dominican Monastery continuing for photo shooting around Dubrovnik Old Town venues, had a welcome cocktail after on the Excelsior's Palms Terrace, wedding meal and dance with a DJ that followed until late.
How many people they were?
About 90.

Dubrovnik Wedding in September
Our great couple Anastasia and Dmitriy sent us a very nice mail, here is the excerpt:
